Letter From Belgrade MN 2012
Hi Ken and family, I just want you to know the tree we bought at your farm looked just great in our living room. I think God knew how badly we needed your tree this Christmas and saved just this one for us. The one little bare spot worked right into the corner of our living room. Decorating it and all the other trees in past years somehow puts the Christmas spirit into the right areas of our hearts. We were the family that bought your last Christmas tree. Dave and I have made coming to your farm an annual tradition with our grandchildren. This year only 4 could come but have had as many as 8. They talk about this event for days before and days after and with the snow storm we had were very much afraid we wouldn't be able to make it this year. Although we were not able to take the trip "over the river and through the woods" around the trees it was still a special time for those that were able to make it. Our youngest grandchild could not wait to get to the elf which he had remembered from last year. Another had a blast rolling down your hill in the beautiful soft snow. And of course they all had a great time throwing snowballs at each other and us. Hopefully next year we will get there earlier to ride the sleigh which is something all the grandkids talk about. Another great time is your gift shop. I must apologize to all of you for the plate of goodies my grandkids devoured. I usually only allow them 1 cookie but this year was too busy picking out gifts from your tree. Speaking of gifts, I personally want to thank you for the beautiful gift shop you have and especially the wide range of prices you have. With 8 and when they are old enough (10) Grandchildren your reasonable prices continue to allow me to be able to let them each choose 1 item from your trees. I want you to know that these are just not things to them but treasures. When we go to there homes to visits they point out there ornaments and most can tell me what year they got them. So you see your farm is not just a Christmas Tree farm, it is a place where memories are made and peace is all around. I wish you and your family a year filled with peace and love. May God bless you and yours for all the work you do so others can find the Christmas Spirit that we so often loose in our rush at this time of year. God's Peace and Love to All of You
